Grand Cayman from Outer Space

Grand Cayman
Covering a total area of 197km2, Grand Cayman is the largest and most westerly of the three islands. Grand Cayman supports about 96% of the total population, which centers on George Town, and the western half of the island. Central and eastern areas are more sparsely populated. The natural environment of the western part of the island has been significantly impacted by residential and commercial development. While central and eastern areas are comparatively undeveloped, human impacts include roads, quarries and agriculture, along with smaller residential developments.
